USGBC Beach Bash:
Greening the Beach

Please join the USGBC Myakka River Branch and Green Drinks Sarasota to socialize and tour the new Green Siesta Key Beach Facilities. 

Come out and learn more about the green features of the beach facilities while enjoying our beautiful beach with like-minded professionals from the area. Food and drink will be provided by our sponsors Jon F. Swift Construction and Sweet Sparkman Architects for your enjoyment.

A project tour will be provided by John Bryant of Sweet Sparkman Architects, and Ross Russo of Jon F. Swift Construction. The tour will include the new landscape features and new buildings at Siesta Beach Park, as well as a new concessions building that is currently under construction. The tour will highlight some of the new low-impact development (LID) features of the park, as well as the specialty lighting design to meet the requirements of a marine turtle nesting environment.
