Project Architect (12-20-24)

BDG Architects ~ Sarasota Studio has an immediate need for a talented, creative, and motivated individual to work as a Project Architect under the direct supervision of a studio team leader. This is a fulltime, in-studio position for our Sarasota, FL office. Interested candidates should have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working on multi-family, retail, QSR restaurants, and other project types.

General Roles and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of design and construction documents for various projects to ensure they are completed on time, and with a high standard of care to satisfy each client.
  • Coordinate and manage individual project budgets and production schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of fee proposals and agreements for clients and consultants.
  • Manage and oversee the work of each project, including consultant coordination.
  • Assist with construction administration services as required.
  • Act as primary client contact for specific projects.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and personal time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion.

Education

  • Completion of professional architecture degree program.

Additional Requirements:

  • Licensure or actively pursuing licensure as a Registered Architect.
  • Experience with sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.

Our creative and collaborative team is seeking a Project Manager with a license or minimum of 5 years of architectural working experience. Minimum B. Arch education and portfolio required. The position requires design and development for residential projects, detailing skills as well as critical thinking and communication skills. Applicants should possess the ability work with a team and the client through all phases of a project. Candidates should have the ability to produce quality construction drawings. Experience in coastal residential and boutique commercial projects is preferred. The role will be based out of our Sarasota, Florida office. A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred working on multi-family/mixed-use, retail, and hospitality/restaurant projects.

Roles and Responsibilitieswill include but may not be limited to the following:

  • Focus on all phases of the design process including schematics, design development, and construction documents.
  • Create project design and construction documents utilizing Revit.

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Completion of professional architecture degree program, or equivalent technical program degree.
  • Proficient in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with other team members in a collaborative studio environment.

Registered Architect / Project Manager – Sarasota Florida (10-22-24)

FleischmanGarciaMaslowski Architecture is currently seeking an exceptional Registered Architect/Project Manager, specializing in healthcare, commercial and K-12 projects. This person will manage, organize and coordinate project teams, be responsible for ensuring that production of construction documents is consistent with the design intent, be responsible for project schedules and budgets, and oversee construction administration. The ideal candidate should have the skills to contribute in a collaborative team atmosphere and the initiative to grow within the firm.
