The Forty Carrots Family Center's Cattlemen Campus is a new 6,500 sf facility providing parenting education and mental health counseling for children and families in need. After seeing a greater need for their services in the community, Forty Carrots decided to expand their campus to Cattlemen Road and a third location in Sarasota. The design of the campus is based around three distinct uses of this campus, expressed architecturally as three volumes held together by a large overhang roof. Predominantly oriented to the south, this overhang roof creates a physical protection from the elements and captures the psychological protection offered through a safe and nurturing upbringing.
