Fire Station #17 Building Sarasota County Fire Station 17 is located on DeSoto Road and serves the new UTC Mall and surrounding community. The structure is a one story fire station housing (3) apparatus bays, living facilities and administrative offices. This station is designed to meet 2030 challenge for low energy consumption and has been registered LEED - Silver.
Representatives from the design, construction, client will be on hand to led the tour and answer questions.
Please park in the shopping center to the east of the site.
After the tour we will meet back at Kona Grill (UTC Mall) and enjoy some light hors d'oeuvres, a drink and networking.
