This course explores how LED lighting technology impacts human perception of light and objects. It explores an LED light source's ability to simulate what people perceive lighting as it should look based on the sunlight and moonlight. It recognizes the similarities and differences between lighting color measurement systems such as CRI and TM30, and also discusses the fundamentals of correlated color temperature and how they are influenced by natural sunlight during the day.
