About the Speaker

A Tampa native, Manny is a passionate preservationist, community advocate and local historian with more than two decades of experience working with cultural nonprofits in the Tampa Bay area. He joined Preserve the 'Burg as their Executive Director after more than a decade as the Communications and Marketing Director at the Tampa Bay History Center.

Since its founding more than 40 years ago, Preserve the ‘Burg has advocated for St. Petersburg’s historic resources and landscapes of importance, and is the city’s leading voice on historic preservation.
